We are very proud to offer both agility and obedience classes with Anne Riba of Apex Agility AND Rally Obedience, Puppy FUNdamentals & K-9 Academy with Sara Berry McLoudrey of ROOT Training.

Agility

Anne has always had a passion for training dogs. She began training her family's dogs at the age of 10 and hasn't stopped since! Anne received her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from Purdue University where her studies provided a strong emphasis in behavior and physiology. In addition, Anne is an Animal Technologist, Agility Judge and also holds her Early Childhood Teaching Certificate.

Anne has been training dogs professionally for over 25 years, offering agility training at all levels from Beginner to Competition. She competes regularly with her dogs in Agility and is very successful on the competition circuit - you will also find her students regularly taking home the Blue ribbons!

Whatever level you and your pet are at, you will LOVE training with Anne.

K-9 Academy Acclerated Learning Program

Training optons range from accelerated learning of general good dog skills, to helping solve specific training problems. All training prorams are customized for you and your dogs personal needs and are priced accordingly. Read more . . .

Rally Obedience

Sara began her training career with her 4H prospect, Gus the Schnoodle, at age 9. Currently Sara breeds and trains Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retrievers and is also the founder of ROOT (Redberry Operant Obedience Training). All training is done with the use of treats, play, praise and FUN. Sara has been training Rally since before it became a popular AKC recognized event. Her Toller, Dara, is the very first in the country to earn the Rally Advanced and Excellent Titles.

Family Pet and Puppy FUNdamentals

Puppy FUNdamentals is a class will give you and your puppy the opportunity to learn how to train basic dog skills. Each class will be broken up by supervised puppy play time and training. All training will be done in an operant conditioning (clicker training) methods. FUNdamentals class is to set a puppy up for success no matter if their path is to competitive dog sports or a great family pet.
