K-9 School Time

K-9 Academy Accelerated Learning Program

We understand that sometimes in our busy world not everyone has enough time to dedicate to training their dogs. We also understand that certain dogs need a more expert touch. With this in mind, we developed the K-9 Academy Accelerated Learning Program. The program is offered in conjunction with K-9 PlayTime Play Care. All training is positive! Training philosophies are based in operant and classical conditioning and teaching your dog to love to train and work with you. Your dog is trained by 2-4 trainers to ease the transition to you. In addition to specific training time during the day the dog is reinforced appropriately for good behavior during Play Care time.

Training options range from accelerated learning of general good dog skills, to helping solve specific training problems (.i.e. leash walking, jumping on people, not coming when called), or just maintain life skills. All training programs are customized for you and your dogs personal needs and are priced accordingly.

We start the process with a one on one meeting with you and a trainer to access your specific needs. Every dog's program is different and is tailored to the dog's personality and skills. Each day of training your dog will go home with a report card of the day's training and homework for the owners. At the end of training period another meeting will be arranged to show the owners how to use their dog's new skills.

Our Trainers have put numerous obedience, agility, conformation, field (retriever), rally obedience, and therapy dog titles on a variety of dogs. In additional to showing their own dogs all of our Trainers are involved with teaching classes.
